Football: Rankin 52, Sierra Blanca 8
Comments 0 | Recommend 0RANKIN Jorge Castillo rushed for 97 yards and four touchdowns Friday while helping lead the Rankin Red Devils to a 52-8 victory against Sierra Blanca in a nondistrict six-man season opener for both teams.
Castillo rushed for scores of 3, 4, 7 and 29 yards as the Red Devils steadily pulled away from the Vaqueros, who reached the Six-Man Division II quarterfinals last year.
Also for Rankin, Austin Dupriest rushed for two scores and 89 yards while Kody Fee caught a 14-yard TD pass from Garrett Lance.
The Red Devils return to action next Friday at Midland Trinity.
