SEMINOLE 20, LEVELLAND 19
Comments 0 | Recommend 0LEVELLAND Senior middle linebacker Hunter Harrelson made sure the Seminole Indians are going back to the playoffs Friday.
Harrelson blocked a 22-yard field goal attempt by Levelland’s Blake Willard as time expired to seal a District 4-3A victory for the Indians (5-4 overall, 2-0 district).
The Indians had to rally to take the lead, as quarterback Cal Moring hooked up with Aaron Thompson on a 62-yard strike with 2:23 remaining and then the Seminole defense held on.
Levelland (4-5, 1-1) running back Bryce Golightly gashed the Seminole defense all night, rushing for 213 yards on 30 carries but he did not find the end zone.
