KERMIT Gabriel Chavez scored on touchdown runs of 22, 11, 7, 58  and 79 yards to lead the Kermit Yellow Jackets past Reagan County 60-18 in the District 4-2A finale for both teams at Walton Field.

Chavez finished with 11 carries for 212 yards and the five scores, with wide receiver Michael Orona catching two touchdown passes in the victory.

Kermit (6-4 overall, 2-3 district) led 19-18 at halftime before scoring 41 unanswered points in the second half to break the game open.
