Football: Andrews 38, Brownfield 0

ANDREWS The Andrews Mustangs did their part Friday, rolling past Brownfield to help create a three-way tie for second place in District 3-3A.

The Mustangs finished tied with Greenwood and Seminole for two postseason berths, with Seminole and Andrews winning a coin flip to reach the Class 3A playoffs along with district champion Monahans.

Jorge Gutierrez returned from injury and scored two touchdowns for Andrews.

Andrews will face Fort Stockton at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 13 at Walton Field in the Class 3A Division I bi-district round.
