Girls basketball: Lady Bronchos face battle at home
Comments 0 | Recommend 0The Odessa High girls basketball team plays its District 2-5A home opener at 6 p.m. tonight when it hosts Midland Lee at the OHS Fieldhouse.
The Lady Bronchos (6-7 overall, 1-1 in district)) are coming off a third-place finish Saturday in the Greenwood Tournament. Odessa High defeated San Angelo Central, 67-40, in a district 2-5A contest on Dec. 1 in San Angelo.
Junior forward Danielle Cooper led Odessa High over the weekend, with senior guard Sara Mancha also playing well.
The Lady Rebels (0-10, 0-2) lost to rival Midland High on Dec. 1.
