FOOTBALL: Seminole tight end Moore commits to West Texas A&M
Seminole High School senior Tanner Moore said Monday he has verbally committed to play football at West Texas A&M, an NCAA Division II school in Canyon.
Moore, a 6-foot-4, 205-pound tight end, said he’s been offered a partial athletic scholarship. He caught 11 passes for 203 yards and three touchdowns in eight games for Seminole last season, helping the Indians win the District 4-3A championship and advance to the state quarterfinals for the first time.
Verbal commitments are non-binding until a player signs a national letter of intent. The NCAA signing period begins Feb. 1.
