Girls basketball: Permian heads to Lampasas

The Permian girls basketball team, fresh off a 64-46 nondistrict victory Tuesday over Andrews, will travel to face Dripping Springs at 6 p.m. in the first game of the Lampasas Tournament.
The Lady Panthers (2-1) will then face Stephenville on Friday at noon before the tournament is put into bracket play for Saturday’s final games.
Permian already has faced Stephenville, dropping a 58-47 decision to the Honey Bees on Friday.
