The entire top 10 in 5A was unchanged this week, leaving District 3-5A member Abilene High still at No. 9.

Area teams Crane and McCamey improved their standing in their respective classifications.

Crane (8-1), which clinched the District 7-2A title by beating Alpine, received votes totaling three points in the Class 2A poll.

In Class 1A, McCamey (6-3) received votes totaling five points after routing Fort Hancock.
