GIRLS BASKETBALL: Lady Panthers head to Tuscola for bi-district game

Permian’s girls basketball team will face Arlington Bowie at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in a Class 5A bi-district playoff at Jim Ned High School in Tuscola.

The Lady Panthers (20-8) won District 3-5A’s co-championship but advanced as the league’s No. 2 seed via a coin flip with Midland High, which advanced as the No. 1 seed.

Arlington Bowie (27-6) and Permian are playing the second half of a doubleheader at Jim Ned, preceded by San Angelo Central’s bi-district playoff against Arlington Martin.
