COLORADO CITY Freshman running back David Sanchez impressed at home, rushing for 102 yards and three touchdowns to help the Wolves to a 31-7 win Friday over Alpine.

Colorado City (7-2 overall, 4-1 District 2-2A Division I district) finished with a 412-262 edge in total offense. Derek Gainey also helped account for the difference, running for 99 yards and a touchdown.

Evan Moore rushed for 109 yards and one touchdown on 19 carries to lead Alpine (5-3, 1-3).
